What is Ultima?
----------------------
Ultima is a series of fantasy computer role-playing games from Origin Systems, Inc. Ultima was created by Richard Garriott, a.k.a. Lord British. Several games of the series are considered seminal games of their genre. Today, Electronic Arts holds the brand.

Akalabeth: World of Doom (a.k.a. Ultima 0) (1980)

I remember playing the Ultima games on the NES, they were pretty fun.

Agreed. But nothing beats the PC versions!

Whee, thanks for the :+fav:. And isn't that icon of yours the Codex pic that I drew for Wikipedia/ultima.wikia.com? :)

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I believe so! Wow, quite interesting to know that the man who drew that is actually you.

Sadly, the Ultima series is not mainstream material, and there are hardly any devout fans,
but that is good in some way! because that's one of the cool things about it, interesting concepts, stories, characters. At least it won't be subjected to the fan butchery experienced by those mainstream titles.
